Thursday 27th of October: March for Percecuted Christians by many churches in Oslo, 17.00-19.00. OIC go there together.

SEPTEMBER:

Sunday 25th of September 5 pm: Sunday Service – Next step in our series “Do you know who you are?”.

Sunday 18th of September 5 pm: Visit from a homecomer from Tanzania.

Sunday 11th of September 5 pm: We will start a new series this Sunday: Do you know who you are? Maicon is preaching.

Sunday 4. September at 5 pm: A pastor from Pakistan will visit us and share God’s Word.

AUGUST:

Sunday 28. August at 5 pm: Lemma Desta, from Ethiopia, will share the word and close our series on discipleship.

Sunday 21. August at 5 pm: Sunday Service – Maicon Steuernagel continue the series “Disciple!”

Sunday 14. August at 5 pm: Synnøve, usually living in Azerbaijan but with a short break in Norway, will share with us.

Sunday 7. August at 5 pm: Shewa from Ethiopia, will continue our series on discipleship.

JULY:

Sunday 31. July at 5 pm: Sunday Service – we start a new series called “discipleship”. Maicon Steuernagel is preaching.

Sunday 24. July at 5 pm: Sunday Service with Maicon Steuernagel on the theme “Rest”.

Sunday 17. July at 5 pm: Sunday Service with Maicon Steuernagel, finally back from “vacation” in Brazil!

Sunday 10. July at 6 pm: This Sunday we will have a Holy Communion Service together with Gamlebyen parish at 18:00. Former seamans pastor Agnar Holme will preach. There will be coffee and prayer from 17:00.

Sunday 3. July at 5 pm: We will have a picnic at 2pm (if the weather is good), then at 5pm Lemma will share the word, and we will pray and worship together.

JUNE:

Sunday 26. June at 3 pm (NB: different time!): Sunday Service with Pastor Emeritus Bjørn Willoch, with the baptism of Maja

Sunday 19. June at 5 pm: Visit from Joshua Reeves, an evanglist from Sierra Leone that now resides in Drammen.

Sunday 12. June at 5 pm: It is pentecost, and former missionary Malika Bommen will share God’s word with us about the Holy Spirit.

Sunday 5. June at 5 pm: Holy Communion Service with Bjørn Willoch, topic: the ascension of Christ

Thursday 2. June: Ascension Day picnic!

MAY:

29. May: Fellowship service at 5pm: Even more of the “Feel!”-series, with Maicon Steuernagel

Tuesday 17. May: National Day: Breakfast together with KIA at 09.00 am. Contact us if you would like to join!

8. May: Fellowship service at 5pm with visitor pastor Michael Nyeneve from Ghana

1. May: Fellowship service at 5pm– International Workers Day

24. April: Easter Sunday 5pm - We will celebrate with a special service at Lyder Sagens gate 7.

17. April: Fellowship service at 5pm - On Palm Sunday Knut Hallen, former missionary in Thailand

10. April: Fellowship service at 5pm – Hans Olav Mørk will come and share with us about reconciliation between people in the city.

03. April: Prayer meeting at 4pm
Fellowship service at 5pm: On the way – with OIC’s yearly meeting

27. March: Fellowship service at 5pm – The Lent Series: Walk the way of Christ

MARCH:

20. March: Fellowship service at 5pm – Ingjerd and Sigmund Evensen from from Wycliffe.

13. March: Fellowship service at 5pm – Beginning of the Lent Series: On this Sunday we will begin a new series meditating on the period of Lent, a time for considering our spirituality and challenging ourselves to go deeper. Maicon Steuernagel will preach. 

06. March: Fellowship Sunday from 10am -19pm: This last Sunday before Lent we will spend some quality time together as a church in a fun and inspiring way. NB: The activitites will take place in Lyder Sagens Gate 7 at Bislet.

FEBRUARY:

27. February: Fellowship service at 5pm – World Church input with Amsalework T. Flood

20. February: Fellowship service at 5pm – Gunnleik Seierstad: “The Bible and other holy texts”

13. February: Fellowship service at 5pm -  “Wood and Womb” Mary in the light of Mothers and Valentines days: Maicon and Carolina will look at the themes of Mothers and Valentines days through the story of Mary.

06. February: Prayer meeting at 4pm
Holy Communion Service at 5pm – Bjørn Willoch: “New Beginnings”

05. February: Community ski-and bonfire day – Gjertrud and Helen are inviting all of you to join them for a day in the outdoors. There will be possibilities for skiing, ski-instruction and for the people who just want to relax: to sit by the bonfire and talk. More info to come about time and place.
